My Kindergarten teacher once said, “Rosemary, today you need to play somewhere other than the kitchen”. That was a sad day…..now my kitchen and clients’ kitchens are my playgrounds!
As a test kitchen professional, I create recipes for CPG brands, develop flavor profiles and new concepts for product innovation, and test and write product preparation directions. Trained in recipe development for the home cook, my clients include Sun-Maid, Kikkoman, Idaho Potato Commission, Basic American Foods, Safeway, and many more.
My approach is “really good recipes for regular cooks”: easily achievable recipes and products, designed to encourage trial and repeat purchase. My recipes are crafted with attention to current trends and consumer appeal, to be intriguing but not intimidating, and healthful when appropriate to the product.
